We welcome you and your family to our beautiful home studio, located in Ashurst, Southampton.

We have so many lovely props available for you to view and choose from. These range from buckets, beds and bowls to floral hairbands and hats.

To ensure that your time with us is relaxing, we have a range of refreshments available for you to enjoy. We have added a few extra comforts such as a TV and have a few baby essentials to hand.

It is our hope that you enjoy your session and are as comfortable as possible. We look forward to welcoming you soon!

BEHIND THE CAMERA

Welcome, I am Lucy and together, with my mum Lisa, we are Lucinda Photography.

I am a Photographer based in Southampton. I specialise in Newborn Baby photography. My home studio is based in Totton, just a couple of miles away from Ashurst Birthing Centre. I have been privileged enough to have been awarded many Bronze Bar Awards from a respected organisation - The Guild of Photographers.

What makes Lucinda Photography different - Safety is paramount

I am fully insured and trained in the Art & Saftey of Newborn Photography and regularly train with other Award Winning Photographers. I will always work with my assistant, Lisa, who provides crucial support to pose your baby during the session. Lisa also assists me by handling the babies. Using both mine and Lisa's experience to settle them and help them into position we try to provide an experience as well as beautiful photographs you will cherish forever.

How Lucinda Photography began

Having been taught photography at college and university I was confident with using a camera. After having my own daughter I realised how special and important these photographs were to a parent. I wanted to create timeless images for many other parents to treasure too.

Babies grow up too fast and before you know they are walking and talking, so having professional photographs to cherish when they are only a few days old captures the memories that seem forever ago.
